SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

Water is produced by a series of three wells collectively identified as a wellfield. These wells are located at the south end of the Columbia Springs Estates development. The water is pumped to a concrete reservoir prior to delivery to the consumers.

Alpine Environmental collects one sample for coliform bacteria each month. This sample is rotated between three collection sites within the system. An annual test for nitrate is collected from the source. Every three years or more, tests for metals and minerals, petroleum products, and radioactive particles are collected. Results of the most recent testing are summarized in the Consumer Confidence Report.
