SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

Water is produced by two wells located within the boundaries of the Pinecrest development. The wells pump to a reservoir located west of Highway 97, where is water is stored until needed. Water flows by gravity or booster pumps throughout the distribution network to serve each property.

Alpine Environmental collects one sample for coliform bacteria each month. This sample is rotated between three or more collection sites within the system. Annual tests for nitrate and less frequent tests for metals and minerals, petroleum products, and radioactive particles are collected from each well, while tests for lead and copper are collected from residences. Results of the most recent testing are summarized in the Consumer Confidence Report.
