SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

Water is produced by two wells located within the Country Estates Mobile Home development. These wells produce water with low levels of arsenic, so an arsenic removal system is operated to bring the concentration below the maximum allowable level. After treatment, the water is pumped to a 54,000-gallon in-ground concrete reservoir before being delivered to the consumers.

Alpine Environmental collects one sample for coliform bacteria each month. This sample is rotated between three collection sites within the system. An annual test for nitrate is collected from the source. Every three years or more, tests for metals and minerals, petroleum products, and radioactive particles are collected. An arsenic test is collected monthly after the treatment unit to ensure that levels are correctly maintained. Results of the most recent testing are summarized in the Consumer Confidence Report.
