SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

Water is produced by a single well located east of North Shore Drive on property owned by Manson Growers. Agricultural activity is prohibited within 100' of the well to protect against possible contamination. The water is pumped to a concrete reservoir prior to delivery to the consumers.

Alpine Environmental collects one sample for coliform bacteria each month. This sample is rotated between three collection sites within the system. An annual test for nitrate is collected from the source. Every three years or more, tests for metals and minerals, petroleum products, and radioactive particles are collected. Results of the most recent testing are summarized in the Consumer Confidence Report.
